Welcome to the homepage of Synthonia Scout group. We are a long standing Scout Group of over 90 years, initially we were affiliated to ICI, hence the name ‘Synthonia’ (From Synthetic Ammonia and Nitrates) since 1992 we have been a standalone group.

At present we have four sections to our group;

Squirrels for ages 4 to 6 which runs on a Wednesday from 17:30 – 18:30

Beavers for ages 6 to 8 which runs on a Wednesday from 17:45 – 19:00

Cubs for ages 8 to 10 ½ which runs on a Thursday from 18:15 – 19:55

Scouts for ages 10 ½ to 14 which runs on a Tuesday from 18:30 – 21:00

Here at Synthonia our programme follows the Scout Associations guidelines to allow each section member every opportunity to achieve the Chief Scouts Award relevant to their section and to learn those ever necessary Skills for life.

All leaders have completed training set out by the Scout Association and are subject to a DBS check.
